Fav place

Hi there! Whenever we are in Melaka, Jy's fav place for breakfast will be at Pak Dollah(pic above) Don't know why he likes this place, just an ordinary makan place selling simple food like roti canai, ready fried mee goreng, lontong, nasi lemak, kuih melayu, tahu sumbat. For drinks as usual : teh tareh etc. But I think the one that attracted JY must be the nasi lemak bungkus and also the atmosphere of the place or ambience. His eating place is situated along Jalan Munshi Abdullah opposite BSN with many business-like shops and banks nearby. His friendly character and able to speak the Chinese dialect is also a bonus.But alas, Pak Dollah, is now a memory. He answered Allah's call last Ramadhan because of ill-health.But life must go on. Now his wife(pic above) with the help of their children are running the place. This morning when we went there for breakfast, there was quite a crowd. Still the same roti canai, lontong, ready fried mee/kuey tiaw nasi lemak, kuih melayu. Same surrounding. Pn Hjh and her helpers were busy on their toes taking order.

Me: Ramai orang pagi ni, Pn Hjh.
Pn Hjh: Ah, cuti sekolah selalu begitu.
