Just in case

I was at one of the kiosks at Melaka Sentral. As I was browsing through the interesting items sold, this gadget caught my attention. Do you know what it is?

It's a mini MONEY DETECTOR, made-in-China thing. According to the towkay,"Oh orang JPJ banyak beli sama saya oh. Bila dia orang buat operasi, mau cek IC., dia guna inilah. Mari saya tunjuk awak." So he demonstrated how the gadget works. He made the LED light shone on the IC card. "Tengok kita punya kad ada dua gambar (the hidden one) dan ada lagi satu baris No kad IC (also hidden)".The hidden picture and No. lighted up. I didn't know that! So the officers can check counterfeit ID. "Dan boleh juga check duit (counterfeit notes) palsu. Tengok saya tunjuk. Duit betul ada banyak line-line putih putus-putis, kalau palsu tak ada." If it is real money,(in case oh Malaysian currency) you can see some staggered white lines. This I must check. Betul ke? This MONEY DETECTOR is also designed as a key chain.

Out of curiosity, I bought one. Went home and started to check some notes,real or counterfeit? Found a crispy RM5 without the staggered white lines. Eh, biar betu!!

It's raining, raining.Alhamdulillah...syukur...hujan di bandar Melaka, setelah panas, kering beberapa hari. Walaupun tak lebat, dan ada cahaya matahari petang pula tu, tapi basah jugalah bumi. Tak perlu siram pokok pasu ku.

Laksa Pahang

I had LAKSA PAHANG for breakfast, bought from a food stall next to the
UiTM Campus. Laksa Pahang is one whole meal with special rice vermicelli,garnish with fresh taugeh( bean sprouts), chopped long beans in a plain white fish gravy with a dash of sambal.Eat the laksa the true Pahang style, with your fingers. Yummy, yummy.

Baiknya hati

Hello, this is my third posting for the day. Nak share juga. Tadi di car park ECMall, the area to the back of the building, I found a problem to reverse and move my car out from the parking lot. The area is narrow lane and if there is no car parked behind those in the parking lot, reversing will be a breeze. But some mamat or chu kang or whoever simply make life difficult for others especially me lah, the helpless one. I had to reverse, move forward and stopped to let cars behind passed by. Macam mana nak keluar ni? Kereta sebelah kanan dan kiri dekat pula tu. Takut ter'bang' pula. Belakang pula kereta dekat. Macam mana ni? Help Allah. I punya berdoa and berdoa (thanks Angah for the doa, it really works, dapat parking lot to pun baca doa tu lah)). A sweet young lady with mother and siblings (Malay family)had just parked her car two lots away from mine. They were about to to go to the building when they noticed "Oh a makcik needs help'. They stopped and the sweet young lady(with a sweet smile) directed me to ' gostan, depan, gostan, depan' and finally.....thumbs up for the family. I was so happy, God has answered my doa. Alhamdullillah. To the kind hearted family, Allah sahaja yang balas budi baik puan sekeluarga. Ameen.
